•Large deals were up in Q3 2018, as 12 assets traded for more than $100.0 million, including; Downsview Airport in Toronto ($825.0 million), the Wynn Group Apartment Portfolio in the GTA ($842.1 million), and Telus Garden in Vancouver ($600.0 million).

•The office, ICI land, and multifamily sectors saw the largest trade volumes in Q3 2018 with investments totaling $3.2 billion, $2.4 billion, and $2.1 billion.

•The most active markets in Q3 2018 were once again Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal, where acquisitions totalled $4.9 billion, $2.7 billion, and $1.2 billion.

•Edmonton continues to show signs of recovery and kept pace with Montreal in Q3 2018 with investment volumes totalling $1.2 billion due in part to several blockbuster trades.

•The most active buyers in Q3 2018 were Pension Fund/Advisors, accounting for 30% of the market.
